Who has had paintless dent removal done?
I'm going to be selling my GTA but I wanted to get the hail damage fixed first. Is paintless dent removal as good as they say? I have about 30 dents in the hood from hail so I'm not sure if I should get a new hood or not.

I have had it done to my 99 Ford Ranger. A Kmart cart smacked my door while I was shopping with my fiance....DOH!
We took it to a local guy and he did the paintless dent repair. He did a fantastic job! He drilled a small hole in the very bottom of the door to get his push rod up to the dent, He worked his magic and the dent was gone. he sealed the hole with a plug and went over the dent area with some finess stuff. Can't even tell there was ever a problem.
It all depends on who you get. I had a good one. cost 85 bucks but Kmart had to pay!!!!!!

I think the "paintless" dent repair he was talking about is the one they use for hail damage, I had it done on my '79 T/A.
They put your car in the paint booth and crank the temp way up to like 150-200 F and let the car get hot on the outside. Then they go at the dents with dry ice wraped in cheese cloth. The rapid cooling of the metal causes the dents to be "sucked" out flush. As long as there aren't any creases it looks perfect, and no filler is needed.
