Wondering if anyone was able to swap their metal pins to the big plastic pins. I need to do this so that my older glass t-tops will mount correctly to my 92 camaro mounts.

The plastic pins push out of the way. They ar merely to add some measure of guidance for the metal pin in the center. Glass ones will swap right in. I have a set of '85 glass ones on right now.

Thats odd. I had to reposition my mounts way down for the pins. So that the t-tops were mounted tight. My mounts have the big hole for the plastic pins to go into.
