Cowl Induction Hood

I'm planning on doing an engine swap in my '91 Firebird in the next week or two. I'm finally scrapping the 305 TBI for a carburated 350. Since hood clearance is already tight, I know that I'll be needing an aftermarket hood to clear the new engine configuration (Performer RPM Intake).

Which brings me to this question: Who makes the best Cowl Induction hoods for 3rd gen Firebirds? I'd prefer steel, but would settle for fiberglass if that's all that's available. It must be in the 2-3" range.

Thanks in advance.

Wingnut, let start by suggesting you do a search on "cowl hoods". There have been a lot of posts on this subject. That being said, I have been very happy with my hood from Glasstek. I have a camaro, but they also make the hoods for the firebirds. They don't have a webpage and their phone number is somewhere on my web page.
