When should i put on the hood louvers and front grill would it be alright to do that right away??? I dont think i can wait its way too cool. I was so sick of driving around a half primered white trash maro now i have the deep purple sophisticated ride LOL. well anyways it looks good. if you live in CALIFORNIA and need a paint job go to 1 DAY BODY AND PAINT they do good shiat!!!!!!!!!

 

How long has it been since they sprayed it. I would at least wait 2 to 3 days. Put it out in the sun. this will hardend the paint faster. Just be carefull and you should be ok. But I would at least wait 2-3 days.

wish i had a digital camera but i do have a befor pic i will scan it and post it along with an after pic as soon as i get the racing stripes on. how long should I wait to put the vynl racing stripes on??

 

I usually do pin stripping a few days after spraying the paint. you should be ok to go ahead and add them. Just dont wear any rings, or watches. Also be carefull with belt buckles, and even just the button on your jeans.

This may sound stupid, but I have seen new paint scratched so bad it would make you sick, by just a belt buckle.

I will get on that I think you would apreciate what i have done i have done. it was a 92 with purple haze now it has an 87 iroc front end and hood. I got it painted purple again just a little darker with more metallic I have also painted the hood louvers and my front grill in the paint that changes from green to purple and now i will put silver racing stripes down the whole car. next will come the tint on the side windows and lowering springs then i will polish my wheels and it will be perfect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK no more pics your making me jelouse damn it. those are the best stripes i have ever seen!!!! anyways what size are those are they the 8 inchers or bigger??? those are the exact size i want. do you know if they make those in silver????? ohh yea and where can i get some??

 

just one suggestion. get some clear side markers i hate that amber color it pisses me off. but just my opinion.

 

Those are bad ***, I really like the white stripes on the dark blue paint, really stands out. I'm gonna do the same with metallic silver stripes, on my teal paint job hope it works out as good as yours does.

 

Thanks for the coments, I though of alot different combanations, before I went with the viper blue. Make sure you get a bright silver for the teal, stay away from anything that looks grey.
