removing back bumper or a mod

Without the spoiler i think it would look really good, is there a mod out there that would make the back end look nice without the bumper sticking out?

When I drove around without the front bumper cover and without the impact honeycomb on my Firebird, it reminded me of an old Charger. You'd have to remove the rear impact absorber (honeycomb) to get a flat back bumper, though, and I guess you'd need to play with fiberglass to make your own bumper cover.
