Fender alignment

My fenders are out of alignment I think. They match up at the front where it meets the bumper but where it meets the door the fenders have about a centermeter gap out from the doors. The doors also match the rest of the body, so I don't know. Any ideas?

Has the car ever been wrecked or repainted? If so someone could have put the fenders on out of allignment. I've had to do this on quite a few cars. First, make sure the doors are alligned well with the body. If so like you said, then loosen the fender bolts and move the fender around and retighten it, in it's correct position. be sure not to push the fender to close to the hood,or it will screw up everything. I've had to lift from the bottom of the fender by prying (VERY gently) with a block of wood and a 2X4 for leverage.Good luck.

the fenders bulge out further than the doors? a lot of thirdgens have that problem. Usually from some dumbass jacking the car up or putting it on a lift improperly, and messing up the bottom of the fender.

you're gonna have to pull the gfx off from under the door, and see what's going on down there on the bottom of the fender behind the wheel. It's not an alignment issue most likely, it's something bent on the bottom of the fender. You may or may not be able to fix the problem yourself.

I had the same problem when i bought my bird, the kid i bought it from used to jack it up right under the fender.

Both fenders stuck out like 2 inches, when me and my dad painted it, we just pulled of the ground effects and grabbed the twisted part of the fender(you will see why it sticks out when you slide underneath the car) and pulled it down with a vise grip. Now it is perfect. No big problem.

Ok, thanks guys I will check it out. I noticed though that the drivers side fender is a replacement fender. Dont know if that has anything to do with that side or not.
