Although I am sure someone has done this, I was thinking about redoing the interior panels ( dash, door panels, sail panels,cargo area) with a vinyl / carpet combination that is common on newer cars along with the typical 4th gen seat/console mods. I am sick of my tan interior and the fact that it is starting to look really crappy is pushing me to change things. My question is, where the heck do I find the vinyl I want? I think I know where to get the other carpet and fabrics for the cargo area but im not sure about the vinyl. I'm looking for a grey or charcol black because I am planning on getting the black and grey seats from a 95 camaro or similar to match the scheme.

Can anyone give any pointers or help with any of this?

 

Try a fabric store, or an automotive upholstery shop.

 

I have tried some fabric places and I didn't really find anything. Are there any places that I should specificly be looking in the "automotive upholstery" dept.?

 

Try a good car audio shop. they usually have access to all kinds of material. think of it, they make custom enclosures for subs and amp racks that match the interior of any car.
