ok i bought a console out of a 97 auto camaro and i am trying to put it in my 91. i know i need the 5-speed part but they didnt have one at the junk yard, so right now i just have the console and where the shifter part is supposed to go is empty. also i need to know how the heck am i supposed to get my cd player and air conditioner screwed back in? i dont know what to do please help! right now they are just sitting on top of each other falling all over the place

 

i'm assuming you have a camaro right? there are a few options that you can take. first is to get the radio pod from a firebird (from what i've heard this works). or you can hack the camaro center console off at the base and use just the radio and heater part of the console. or your third option would be to completely fabricate your own radio/heater pod.

 

thanks a lot. i finally found the 5-speed part to the console at a junkyard after calling every single one in town. i will go back up there tomorrow and get the cd player and air conditioner part out of a firebird.
