The "PONTIAC" in the middle of my rear taillights is not colored. Isn't it supposed to be red or something?
If so, how would I go about coloring it? crayons?

As it is right now you can't even really see what it says and I want people to know what just spanked 'em

 

Yeah I know what your talking about... my Vert isnt colored either, not too sure why. The ones Ive seen colored are red... Im not sure if its a sticker or what, but Id like to find out!

The factory lettering fades. Few of these cars have the factory lettering still on there. The color is a dark orange, and I got it re-done using vinyl lettering at an autographics shop.

 

Tony - is your PON paint? gotta love the stick in the hatch. I had that for the longest time too.

MrJ - how much did the shop charge you?

 

Yep--definitely is painted on. On the other side you can see the outline of the "tiac"--so I guess if I decided to have it painted back on they could just follow the outline.

I bought a set of those tail light recently. Mine look like stickers and are in gold (on a red car, YUCK) I contacted the someone (actually the admin) over at http://www.transamgta.com. He has a contact in Australia that makes them. All she needs is the color code of the lettering and she will make you a set... ~$25 or so. I want mine in silver so I have to send her a sample of the color I want. If anyone wants this womans' email address email me.
