Center Console Alignment

I need to align the center console on my 5-speed RS. When I bought it I noticed that the console has about a 3/8" gap at the dash on the passenger side. How is the console mounted?

I have exact same problem. I took about 5 mins and took everything apart by the stereo and noticed I could move the console around a bit ot matchup perfectly. How I actually attach it and align it PROPERLY I don't know.

Anyone?
