I have a Harwood liftoff.

You'd be disappointed to know that a Harwood lift off hood has no provisions for latches or hinges. What you would want is a bolt on. I went the route of getting a lightweight lift off because I liked the idea of having the engine bay access. In that aspect its great. However, for the street its not the best idea in my opinion and I would have gone the route of a bolt on. If your using it for the street, I'd say get the bolt on. The lift off is paper thin. If someone were to sit or lean thier weight on the hood, it would crack in a second. There is minimal bracing under there. The hood flexes really badly at high speeds. When I drive at 60mph or higher, the hood wants to be sucked off the car. I can literally see through the cowl under the hood and see the nose of the car. I need much more restraint for my hood as I have used 4 hood pins. I need some dzeus fasteners along the front to keep it down. Whats more, if you try to lift off the hood yourself, it is so large that its very cumbersome. It can be done and I have to lift it off by myself a lot but its difficult to handle without dropping it. Here are some pics on the rear pins mounts that I fabricated out of aluminum.

Here is what it looks like with the hood installed:

To answer your question, no, you cant bolt on a lift off hood.
In fact I think I will be switching to a bolt on soon. Anyone in the New Orleans area interested in a lift off??LOL!!
Good Luck
