Interior pictures, please.

Does anybody have pictures of the roof of a convertable car from the inside? (With the top up, of course. lol)

I'm looking around to buy one but I've never seen what it looks like. A friend of mine has a convertable 'stang and the interior of that roof is horrible, all the mechanisms and hinges and what-not are exposed and sitting right next to the person's head. I was wondering if the F-body's had that stuff covered up like the newer convertable cars.

in mine nothing is covered up, you can see all the beams goin across and the latches and what not but then again my top was replaced by teh previous owner a few years ago. I'm pretty sure that it was the same way with the factory tops. If you still want a pic i'll take one for you later tonight

True - all the beams and stuff show very visibly. However:

1) Who looks up when driving?
2) Maybe 1 out of 10 times I drive it the top is up. I don't care what it looks like.
