I am gearing up to offer repaired and re-manufactured 86-87 & 88-91 hatch pull-down units (ther are minor differences in wiring connectors used to power the units and other misc. parts). Repaired units have my new nylon guides, gear nut and my specially reinforced motor housing. The re-manufactured units have these as well plus a brand new motor. Both repaired and re-manufactured units will have a warranty. Either unit will be stronger than the OEM version because of the stronger guides and reinforcements done to the weak areas of the motor housing. There will be a refundable core charge. I plan to include a postage-paid return label with the unit. Just put your broken unit in the box and return it for a refund of the core charge. I am still working out a few details and trying to gather enough rebuildable cores to start the project. I expect to have the program in place by early August.
Oh, and yes I still sell the parts available to rebuild the unit yourself. In fact there is a SALE in effect for 15% off until 7/31. E-mail me and I'll send you my Price List via e-mail attachment, fax or snail mail.
