Making my own fiberglass aero spoiler!!!

well, heres the deal. My aero spoiler is crap! deeeeep scratches, etc. in it, looks like sh*t. I saw the gtauto banner and looked at the hoods, but never looked at spoiler. then i looked at the spoiler, damn near 500 bucks. Now i'm thinking, why shell out 500 bucks for something i can make for less than 100? So, i'm just bondoing the spoiler to make it the right smoothness and form, and then i'm going to make my mold. thats the hard part here, the mold. i'm thinking and i'm not sure if i am gonna have to make two halves or what. anyone done this before? advice???

My advice? Change your userID to "igot2muchtimeonmyhanz" You'll spend a month of sunday's trying to get an entire spoiler looking absolutely perfect. If you can do it, good on ya! But if you're thinking that that $500 covers only materials you are absolutely high. Labor my friend, labor.

You'll see what I mean.
