replace headliner with dynomat?
Here's what I'm thinking. My headliner is drooping, I'm taller than your average bear and my head hits the roof far too easily anyway, so I thought, why not ditch the headliner, put in some dynomat or other sound deadening material, spray some glue on, then put some fabric up there and gain myself another 1/4-1/2" of headroom.

sounds cool, would deaden road noise better too... I would just hope the spray adhesive would hold after time, I would think it would start to let go after a year or so.... but give it a shot and let us know
cheers

Tip 1: After you remove the whole shell and peel off the old headliner, take a broom and sweep all the old dried up foam off of the shell or it won't adhere. (Kinda like trying to glue something to sawdust, it just won't stick!) Then follow the directions!
Tip 2: Be careful with the shell, it's thin fiberglass and breaks easily, if it does, I have some tips for repairing that too!
Got these tips from this website, so I can't take all the credit, but I'll help in any way I can.

If ya need any other tips for removing the headliner PM me
