Formula Auto shifter options???
Formula Auto shifter options???
I have an 89 Formula with a pretty ratty shifter. I want to replace it and would like to know what my options are? I've done the search on these boards but always come up with the B&M mega shifter... and that part doesn't fit flush with my console so that seems out of the question...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Honestly, I think almost anything will fit, from Cadillacs, Buicks, Chevy's, Pontiac's (Obviously) with the Floor shifter... Never tried it, but the configuration seems to be similar for most of them...
little clip on the front, and pull up.

B&M makes one besides the mega shifter that is flush with the console. You keep the shift plate, but get to tear out that ribbed piece of black plastic and your shift lever. Its chrome with a handle in front that youe squeeze to shift. Looks awesome but I don't know where to get it. I see it all the time in the back of Chevy magazines. Do a search here and you might find it.
