Replacing Dash lights

I have a 1992 Camaro RS and need to get to the lights in behind the gages. I have pulled the black trim piece loose but it hangs up on the **** for the lights. I don`t seem to be able to get the **** off. Does it pull off, turn off or what? I have not tried to hard as I don`t want to brake anything.
After this is off is it all pretty simple or will I run into other problems like the ****?

Thanks for any input.

Mike

it says in the manual but in case you don't have one you need to do this... pull off the harnesses for the heater and cig. lighter then pull the black plastic piece so you can see a little silver **** that comes out of the bottom of the light switch. you need to push that upwith a long handle screw dirver or something and then pull the switch and it'll pop out. a tip is before pulling wigle a little bit and make sure the lights are off push button and then pull. pm me if you need more help.

1991rsblue, Thanks for the help! That did the trick. Now all I need is to get replacement PC 194, PC 161 & PC 74 bulbs. I will check the local GM dealer and see if he has some.

Thanks again,

Mike
