converting 85-89 interior to 90-92
Is it possible to swap the enite interior (dash and gauges too!!) from a 1990-1992 camaro into an 1985-1989 camaro? Has anyne out there done this?

I know this is small, but the arm rests are differant. When I went to put a 88 camaro arm rest into my 91 camaro. My window wouldnt go down (because of the screws). Keep that in mind, thought it might work the other way, nre to old (i did old part into new car).
You will have to change the entier dash, the 90-92 are differant.

The 90+ use an electronic speedometer, so you'll need to play games to make it work. I don't think the 86-89 & 90-92 cars use the same VSS signal, so it may not be as simple as just throwing a VSS into the transmission and calling it a day.
The 90+ has an airbag too. I doubt that you want to go through the hassles of making that functional.
I think the 90+ uses a different heater ducting setup too, but I doubt that the heaterbox that's bolted to the firewall would be different.
