Center Console mods

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do with the power window switches when putting a fourth gen console in a third gen? Any ideas would really help me out. Thanks!

On the doors would work. Or maybe on the roof console, but that would be hard to wire, I guess you would have to take out the headliner. Or maybe near the power seat controls, if you have them.

Most people are putting them in the ashtray. I have read a post or two that mentioned on the side of the console, but I like the ashtray idea.

Also, you could take the front pocket area and make a solid panel, and mount the window switches there.

I saw a 4th Gen console in a 3rd Gen, and the owner mounted the switches in the armrest storage area....looked pretty good, except that you have to open the console lid to move the windows...

Mount it on the door panels. The panels from the 4th gen should have come with the switches. Wire the 4th gen switches to the stock 3rd gen switch wires. If they didnt come with the switches, you can pick up a set from AutoLok (www.autolok.com)
