Dark Gray 4th Gen Trans Am seats...did I get a good deal?

I bought this complete set of 4th gen Trans Am seats off ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1851158231

I emailed the salvage yard several times about the condition of the seats and was assured they look practically new, with no rips, holes, stains, etc on them.

This is a pretty good deal isn't it?

For parts like that, the value will always depend on how much the buyer wants to pay. I'm sure you'll hear stories of other people getting the seats cheaper in other parts of the US, but if you wanted those seats and you wanted them now, then whatever you paid is what they're worth. For me personally I wouldn't pay $200 a seat because brand new race seats can be found for $220 a piece. But hey compare it to the 4th gen door panels I want to buy ... $100 a piece ... 1/2 the price of one of those seats ... seems like you didnt get ripped off. Assuming they are in perfect condition ...

I don't think you got the "deal of the century" but you did better than average provided they're in the condition they say. I paid more than that just for my 2 front seats. The leather TA seats tend to go for between $550-$600 on Ebay, so I'd say you did good.

Thats not a horibly bad deal for Leather, especially if there in good condition. I assume you got the rear seats too???

Actually not to rain on your parade, there was a local salvage yard that had a cherry set of gray and red seats from a Camaro, they were only cloth, but I think for the whole set they said 100 or 125. BUT you got leather... with much better and more comfortable seats than those that I saw, so its kind of hard to compare.
