Re-using IROC-Z decals

Hey guys, I am getting my car painted and I was wondering if anyone has ever re-used their IROC-Z door stickers? Assuming that I am able to get them off in one piece, can they be re-used? What type of adhesive would I need to do the job? Thanks in advance for any info.

Steve

You can NOT re-use them. I suppose that anything is possible, but, I install graphics for a living and I'd be completely amazed if you could get them off in one piece AND without stretching them. After that, you'd have to keep 'em somewhere completely free of any moisture, lint, etc. Then you'd have to be able to line them up perfectly on the new paint and then you still may not have enough adhesive to make'm last very long. I'd spend the money, and just get new ones....after all, you just got new paint, don't skimp on the graphics.

EXACTLY! Go to phoenix graphics. That is where i got mine and they are so damn close to the originals, there is no way i could tell the difference! They sell different kits and colors.

Yeah like they said, it won't work without a lot of effort. You'd stretch them quite a bit removing them and they wouldn't stick for long. Just buy some new ones.
