I have the dash out of a 99 SS. 100% complete and it is going into my 91 camaro Z28 Vert. Is there any diffrence from using an LT1 dash? Can I still just spice up the gauges with wirirg diagrams (schematics -spelling?) or will I need this dakota digital box I hear about? I have a 700R4. thanks

Here's how I understand it from reading about other peoples experiences. I plan to do this mod as well to my 92 B4C but I will be using an interior (dash, console, and door panels) from a 99-02 Firebird. It is possible to wire the 99 guage cluster to the 91 ECU with the wiring diagrams. Search the boards for 4th gen swaps and look for a user named 'u r sofa king we tah did'. He did the 4th gen dash swap into his car and he has alot of good info. I thin one of his posts even has the wiring diagram. As far as the dakota digital box, thats to convert the vss (controls the speedo on the guage cluster). I think only people with the T56 tranny swap need it ... but I'm not sure .... you might need it as well.

Hope that kinda helps
