fattie92,
Sorry for the glare on some of these pics. It's hard to get a good pic through plastic with a flash.
Here they are:
Speedo....

Tach and Boost....

Volt and Fuel....

Oil and Temp....

All 4 gauges....

One more with my MoMo wheel I'm putting in...no horn button yet....

These are the Macewen motosports white face overlays that are UNCUT. I had to remove the volt meter and oil pressure gauge needles to put these in, but IMHO it was worth it to have the smooth look.

dude, your car is AWSOME. you must buy the wheels that you photoshoped on there, that looks bad ***!! thanks for the pics of the gauges, they are really nice gauges, few questions though...... do you still have the same factory backlight where it shines through the sides? or does the Macewen have that indigol type thing goin on?? if its the one that shines through the sides still (factory) what color light do you have shinning through? my factory redish light makes it a PITA to see some of my gauges., but i am getting new gauges that im gonna do up all nice and pretty, and just wnat suggestions.(im cheap and doing the "poor mans guide to white face gauges"
)
) Thanks for the compliment on the car....check out the one I just got rid of...it was a friggin SWEET a.. ride too.

Old car with TTII wheels

The MacEwen overlays are printed on top of clear plastic (kind of like overhead transparency stuff?)
The marks on the speedo, tach, etc that indicate speed, RPM, etc are actually clear so the light shines through the marks and illuminates that way.
I still have the factory lights in that are the reddish-orange color.
I wish I had the extra cash on hand to shell out $1099 for wheels and another $500 or so for tires. I would like to find a used set if possible.

do you have the "cross lace" rims?? if you do, i think they are some of the nicest rims for the birds...how thick is the plastic stuff? i mean is it actualy as thin as a transparency?...and WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU SELL THAT CAR?????????????? that car is friggen sweet, there is a car like that around here but its the hardtop one that came with the blue rims. sweeeeeeeet, its got a matching rollcage and NX bottles in the back..last i heard it was a 10 second car...got any pics of the engine??????
Here's a pic with the crosslace wheels:

Yes the plastic is as thin as a transparency. They are very bendable so you can get them on easily.
I got rid of the 25th anniv convertible because it was SO NICE I hated to drive it. It had 41,000 orig miles and had only been driven in the rain twice. It was show quality. And I also made out good by getting rid of it when I did.
deadtrend1...the red gauge bezel looks good...did you paint anything else?

That car is TO NICE to sell........
My wife thought I was crazy for getting rid of it too....
I didn't like it being a garage queen. Cars are meant to be driven, and for some strange reason, as much as I LOVED to drive it, I HATED to drive it too. I was obsessed with wiping out the wheelwells after I drove it, and I had floormats over my floormats.
The 89 TTA I have now only has 58,xxx original miles on it and is very clean too, but at least it has been used more like an everyday driver, and I'm not afraid to let it get a bit dirty.
