hey guys i am getting trans am ground fx for my 89 firebird. i did a search and i can't find a how -to on the install. anyone want to help me out. if not i have to pay my camaro/firebird shop 175 for the install. thanx guys

 

I am currently doing the exact same thing on my 83, actually im putting them on this weekend. All of the side skirts are held on by metal strips with studs in them. The strips run inside the very top edge of the ground effects, and the studs go into holes i nteh body, with nuts inside the fenders/quarters. You must drill 3 holes in each front fender, 4 in each quarter (3 behind the wheel, 1 in front), and 4 in the bottom of the door. The bumpers simply bolt on however. I have a little bit of an advantage, though, because I am abotu to start sanding my car down for repainting, so if I screw up, I can always fix it with bondo and primer over it.
