Installing new door sills on door panels...

I just got new door panels and door sills for my IROC. I put on the door panels without the door sills, because the door sills weren't coming in for a few weeks. But now, they are here, and I'm trying to figure out if I need to take the whole door panel off to get the door sill on. I know I will at least need to take off the top half so I can get the metal clip things onto the posts on the sill. Any suggestions or tips to make this easier?

i say just take the whole thing off so you don't screw it up, it's really not that hard

Yeah, I figured that would end up being the easiest thing to do.

huh?

I just popped mine off and put the new ones on. You can rivet the tops in (as it looked on the old ones, but didn't show it underneath).

But then again the interior was SH*TTY when i bought it and that's why they came off and on.
