I currently have the factory "lip" spoiler but I have purchased a 91-92 Z28 high rise type spoiler how do I install this? does anyone have pictures of underneath the hatch so I can see the bolt placement? and does anyone know what type of bolts/screws hold this thing on and know where do I get them?

Sorry for all the questions, thanks in advance

I did this to my car. First, you want take your spoiler off. Then put some white out on the bottom of the bolts that or in the spoiler. Place the spoiler on the back of the car where you want it to go. Well where it should go. Then kind of let it make a mark in the paint to mark a spot. Then get your drill ready. use a small drill bit first to drill down into the trunk lid. Then start to drill with a big bit to make the size of the whole. That should be about it. After you are done drilling just put it on and bolt it up> And you are ready.

...... then a few months later those holes will be rusted out Atleast seal the holes with silicone or RTV or something once you have the theads through the holes..

Just don't forget that you're also going to have a whole pile of holes to fill from removing the stock spoiler. You were planning on removing the original spoiler, right?

I found it works well with tape on the rear deck lid. You can mark the spots you need to drill without scraching the paint.

Also remember that the spoiler is weights more that your stock one. So if your hatch supports are weak, you might need new ones.

Or, he could just mount it just in front of his stock spoiler and leave them both :sillylol: :sillylol:
