Clear Coat Peeling off
After I get this car back on the road I am going to tear into the exterior and interior. First question I have is the clear coat is peeling off. I want to paint it but dont want to take it it down do bare metal. Can I just strip off clear coat then paint over it.Next question is the interior faded from sitting in the same place for so long. Is their a company that makes replacement seat covers. Thanks for any response.

You shouldn't have to take it down to bare metal.....you should just be able to take the clear off with a D.A......that's what I've did in the past.
