T-Top leaks....
T-Top leaks....
my T-Tops leak durning heavy rain, or if i dare try to go through a carwash, I was thinking about using some black weather stripping sealant to stop it, because i never really drive with them off anyways any recommendations?
i stopped most of my leaks, but for some reason if my car has been sitting in the rain and when i first move a couple of drops come in between where the t-tops pin locks into the whole on the rear body.. i am thinking about using some sort of gasket material to fix that and i should be 99% leak free.. i think that water might actually be coming through where the lexan and the metal frame its in meets.
to stop major leaking, just peel back the weatherstripping alittle from the body and put a nice new bead of silcone (black) sealer, between the body and the weatherstipping and then put the t-tops back on and it wil dry on its own... i redid both sided, because both sides kinda leaked but one side did more than the other.. its been raining over my house for about 1 and a half straight i am waiting when it stops i am going water seaching in my car
but it all depends and where you are leaking, your t-tops might just need to be adjested so they lock down harder..
