Replacement Fenders and Front Plastic

I have to replace the fenders and front goodies on a 1988 IROC Z/28. I'm wondering what years/types of Camaros are interchangeable.

I am going junk yard shopping, but does anyone have any experience with the Ebay fenders/parts?

im pretty sure they all interchange from 82-92, but the style that belongs on your iroc is from 85-90. and its not iroc specific

Yes, anything from 82-92 will fit. I have an 82-84 front plastic on my 92. The only thing that must match up is the front spoiler/ground effects must match the nose. I found that out when I tried to put an 85 front spoiler on my 82-84 nose. The mounting points are completely different.

Re: Replacement Fenders and Front Plastic

Front and rear bumpers will interchange for any year. Note rear bumpers change slightly throughout the years to be a little taller and with different contouring. Not much but enough to notice if you are going for historical accuracy. Front bumper was same throughout. However I know that 91-92 z28 front bumpers have different mounting holes for aero ground effects specific to those years. You can drill new mounting holes as needed. Hopefully you can find something in a junkyard. I am looking to get new bumpers too. Everybody says aftermarket never fits right. Good luck.

Re: Replacement Fenders and Front Plastic

Thanks guys, I finally got my browser to stop logging me off each time I switched pages and was able to search on my own,

BTW - I got lucky. I got to looking at the banged up front end and realized the gfx is in one piece. I yanked it off and out it away. That makes things a whole bunch easier/cheaper.
