Hatchback Swap

I have a big crack in the glass of my hatchback. I found a place where I can get another one for under $100. Is there anything special that I should know about changing my hatchback? Does it have to be tightened down a precise amount or do you just get it as tight as you can? I'm sure taking it off will be easier than installing the new one. Are there any tricks for getting the new one back on?

Thanks,

Steve

I did have an aero spoiler. Why does it matter?

Ah. I got one with the formula style spoiler. I've always liked it better. I did notice that the old one with the aero spoiler was heavier.

but remoeable .. you gotta remove the metal part anyway then get the new glass on the last step will be aligning the metal part (which there is a GREAT faq on that here) and you'll be all set but remember to have someone help you its a major b*tch to do alone that glass is VERY heavy
