peel the tint off then use a high amonia based glass cleaner and alot of rags or even use a plastic bondo spreader to try to get the glue off. It isn't the tint that is hard to get off it is the glue that holds it on. If you use a razor blade like you do on a normal window it will take the defrost right off.

No problem! I have to do the same thing to mine and this is the way that I will be doing it. It takes FOREVER! Just make sure you get all of the glue.

Get some window tint remover spray and use alot of it. Just a thought, I've never done it before.

I'm not doing mine until spring. Snow flew today so the car won't see the road til then, but if you want to wait I'll do mine first This isn't the first time that I have done this. I peeled 20% off to do 5% a couple of years ago, but my buddy used Llumar tint and it is starting to turn purple. The tint that I sell now, Sungard has a lifetime warranty
