Inner Fender Wells

MY RIDE HAS RUSTED OUT INNER FENDER WELLS. YOU CAN SEE THE TOPS OF MY TIRES WHEN YOU LIFT MY HOOD UP. IJUST HAS HOLES IN IT NOW BUT THEY ARE GETTING WORSE. WHERE CAN I FIND NEW FENDER WELLS? HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK A SHOP WOULD CHARGE TO REMOVE THE OLD ONES AND PUT NEW ONES ON? WHAT KIND OF SHOP DOES THIS KIND OF WORK?

hmmmmmmm........ because the camaro is unibody, there are no replacement inner fender wells. infact the whole front end is pretty much all one piece. you would have to get whatever is rotted through cut out and replaced.

I have the exact same problem, so far tho it's only the drivers side inner fender that's rusted, I wanted to do something to it before the strut tower mount is gone

Kinda figured the only way to do it was to cut out the rust & weld in new pieces, glad to know that my idea was a good one LOL.

anyone else done this, that could give us some advice?

well for now I'm gonna be riveting stainless steel over the spots I cut out but later I'll just put a patch panel on 'em.
