How do you align the trunk so when it closes the rear spoiler on the trunk hatch lines up with the two spoiler ends on the rear fenders?

If its a matter of up/down adjustment, there are rubber pieces that screw in/out on the hatch to adjust it. If its a matter of in/out adjustment, there's a tech article on this site.

 

Remove the plastic panel at the rear of the headliner and you will see 4 nuts holding the hatch down. The 2 on the passenger side go through elongated holes and they can be loosened and the hatch moved. Unhook the gas struts first though, since they wiil want to push the hatch backwards. I had to remove the hatch completely to file out the 2 drivers side holes to get enough movement to line it all up. If you do that, make up some new gaskets to seal the hatch hinges down to the body otherwise water will drip in.

Make sure you don't overtighten the bolts on the hatch. The first pot hole or the first time you slam the hatch, the rear window will shatter.

 

good thing you told us that because i was about to align my hatch and i would have tightend it alot then probably slammed it in my joy of accomplishment. not knowing that i would be looking at glass all over my car afterwards!
