Cleaning paint off of IROC rims
I didn't know where to put this so I thought this was the best place.
When I bought my 88 IROC some IDIOT had painted the rims with silver rattle can paint. Some of the paint has come off but I am looking at the best way to remove the paint without messing up the factory alumnium finish. I want to do this with as little damage to the finish as possible.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated :hail:
TIA

Man, that's a bummer. I guess my initial instinct would be to try paint thinner, but i'm not too sure if A) it would work well enough or B) it would mess up the alluminum clearcoat. Have you tried doing a board search? Just a suggestion...good luck.
