I had my car painted just over a year ago. I got a little rock chip between the pass side window and the hatch. Now the little bit of bare metal that is showing has the littlest bit of surface rust on it. I was just wondering how i can take car of this? Any bit of advise is helpful.

 

Not too hard to fix. Use the tech article. Basically, sand it, prime it, sand it smooth, add more primer if needed (I'd use 3 coats or so), add touch up paint, wetsand smooth, add clearcoat, wetsand, buff. On my 92 RS, someone scraped my read quarter panel. I fixed it all with touch up paint and it came out perfect except the paint didn't quite match. But it was smooth. This was my first ever experience with any body work by the way. I did a pretty good job.
