Info for installing/repairing spoiler

My girlfriend tried to open my rear hatch by pulling up on my spoiler and ended up ripping it from the glass/body.

Here are my questions:
1. Where do I get another spoiler which will fir my car, I hardly ever see cars with the same spoiler I have.
2. How much should it cost?
3.How difficult is it to install a spoiler?

Here's what I got
1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans-AM
The spoiler wraps along both sides of the hatch and arches over the rear and is made out of black vinyl. This isn't the standard spoiler that I usually see on other firebirds. Also, the 3rd brake light IS NOT located on the spoiler, but on the upper part of the hatch. Sorry, I dont have any pictures to help out.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried gta auto acc the have a link at the top of the page and offer a reproduction of the factory rubber spoiler like you have only it is in fiberglass and only is only about half as heavy 15lbs but quite pricey at between 4-500 bucks.

I have the spoiler that just spans across the back of the car but when I took it off, it was just four bolts on the bottom side of the hatch. Its was so easy to take off, it really made me wish that everything else I have done to my car was that easy. So I'm pretty sure your spoiler wouldn't be any harder to take off.

to take off aero spoiler:
undo two bolts on inside of hatch. slide whole spoiler forward and pull up out of slots. careful not to break white plastic clip things.

to replace:
remove white plastic things from spoiler arms. you may have to take out little metal piece to do so, but just replace metal piece afterwards. put the white things in the slots on the hatch. then screw spoiler back on and PUSH the arms onto the white plastic clips you just put on hatch.
trust me thats much easier than trying to get the clips into the slots while the plastic things are in the spoiler still.
