i need to know if i need a spring compressor to change my shocks and struts on a 1991 z28 camaro with a 5.7 liter engine all advice is welcome. and also if there is anyway to get the key that holds my rims on off without the key let me know.thanx

 

theres a tech article on how to change springs on the main page under "technical articles' check it out it'll help a lot. but if i recall correctly you most likely will need one in order to remove them. as for removing your locking lug nuts without the key try doing a search. best thing would be to weld on a socket to the lock and then just scrwe it off, take it to a wheel shop they will be able to help you out, or finally tighten the other 4 bolts as much as you humanly can in order to take the stress off of the lock and then use a channel lock or something to try and take it off good luck
