Hey.. had no idea were to start a thread like this, so i did it here.

Anyway, when i got my '83 Z28 (5L HO) i got the dual snorkel air cleaner with it, but only 1 of the scoops and 1 hose. My plan is to just make 2 new hoses with some dryer tube or something (mine is in bad shape), but were should i route them?

I was considering routing them down to the open grill beside the front licence plate, but then i'd probably get no air to the radiator.

Any suggestions?

Make sure you use some strong hose as when that small block sucks it'll flatten standard dryer hose

Last time I checked (couple of months ago) you could still get the factory hoses and plastic scoupes (sp?) from the dealership. If you can't find them let me know & i will get with my parts person and find the part #'s.

 

That would be great if you could get those numbers for me Nate.. i think im just gonna hit the dealership, but they would probably be useful.
