How much should this cost.

The striker switch on the hatch pull down. The local dealership wants $51 for it is this right or are they ripping me off. Has anyone found one cheaper or tried to fix the switch. I have to play with it to get it to go up when I open the hatch.

You can order the parts online and save a little money if you don't mind waiting an extra week or two for the parts to arrive.

If you think owning a thirdgen is expensive, go visit the local chevy dealership and look at the price of a new car. You will not have any repair costs during the first few years of the vehicles life since everything will be covered by the factory warranty. But you'll also be sending several hundred dollars a month to the bank to pay for your ride.
