Radio Controls

I was wondering if there was ANY way (adapter, etc) for my '89 steering wheel controls to work with a new stereo. Thanks

the guy who sold my friend his GTA mentioned that he knew of an adapter that let the steering wheel controls work with aftermarket decks.

i have no hard evidence, but i assume if such a thing DOES exist, there would probably only be a few available for CERTAIN brands of decks (ie. just alpine and panasonic)

NEW stereo? please explain...

Basically any of the newer Aftermerket radios that came with the remote control apparently have the option to have a $100 adapter to use with your factory Steering wheel...

I know this for Kenwood only, I assume the rest of the companies have something similar...

I personally am planning on re-wiring the wheel to do such with my older Kenwood.
