Z28 Hood on an RS?

I recently recked my car and now I need a new hood. I found a few on the internet for under 200. The RS hood is 180, but the Z28 hood is only 130. So I was wondering if a z28 hood would fit on my 92 RS body? Thanks for the help!

Yep, will fit fine.....you'll have to get a set of louvers or blisters for the Z28 hood though....

On these cars, pretty much everything is interchangeable..... gotta love thirdgen mass production ..

You might be able to find some blister on ebay. I thought someone posted a link recently.

Blisters are what are on the 91 and 92 Z28's. I believe that they are called "Power Blisters" or something like that. Not functional but look sweet I think. Would be better if they were functional though!

Anyways ... If I were you, I would go with a nice cowl induction hood, or go for the ASCD SS hood. That is the coolest hood I have ever seen. Well it's up to you though.

yeah so would I but I am kinda limited in the pocket book. I see now why the Z28 hood is cheaper tho, they dont give you the whole thing. If I had 500 bucks to throw around I would deff go with one of those ram air hoods.
