painting air deflectors
Are you talking about the vents that are in the Dash? Or are you talking about the air dam that is under the car that gives air to the radiator?
If you are talking about the oens on the dash, then I would recommend using a type of paint that is designed to stick to plastic parts. I hear that Testors works great. I don't remeber what type I used but it looks pretty good. Also you misght want to clear coat them. Just remeber do alot of little mist coats because you don't want any sags/drips on them, it will look bad. Mine took about 4 days to complete because I was very carefuly on letting them dry before flipping them over and spraying the other side.
They are easy to take out too. Just stick a flathead screwdriver on the top of the vent between the vent it'self and the dash. There are 2 clips. One on the top and one on the bottom. Just take your time and be careful. Don't break them. For most assistance just hit the "search" button, because they're are a ton of topic on this.
And if you are talking about the dam under the car ... my only question is .... WHY?

thanks a lot for the help...just one more quick question:
i was just researching on their website and i noticed they have a various number of products...i assume that i want the acrylic paint that comes in the 1/2 oz. bottle, but how do i apply it?
it says pre-thinned and ready to airbrush...what does that mean?
thanks for the help on getting them out though!
