cracked front end

Some idiot backed into my car in my school parking lot the other day and i dont know who it was. I just want to fix it myself to keep the cost down to a minimum.
They cracked my front end about 3 inches.
I repainted my car with a friend a year ago, so no questions on the painting part. I just want to know the proper way to fix the crack to where it wont recrcack later on.

If you know somebody who could paint it, then you might as well just pickup a new front clip from a junkyard or by checking the classifieds board. Used ones are pretty reasonable in price and that's the only sure-fire way of fixing it right. Unless you're experienced with body repair, it can get pretty tricky to fix cracked front clips. Good luck and keep us posted.
