broken seat mount?

I was sitting in my seat today, and I guess I leaned back a bit and it felt like the track broke. So it looks as if seat has either broken off the track, or the piece has come right out of the floor. It is really dark and I don't really have a good source of light to see anything, combined with the fact I need to vacume Has anybody else experienced this problem? It is quite annoying to drive with a broken seat, not to mention dangerous! If anybody has any ideas on how to fix it, or if this has happened to them before, please post. I need help quickly!

If the seat track broke, take it off and replace it or have it welded back together. If the seat mount came out of the floor (like mine did) go to a junkyard and cut the peice out of a parts camaro and have it welded in. I had to remove the carpet and I cut out extra at the junkyard so as to make it easier to line up when it got welded in. Hopefully your seat track broke and replacing it will be the easiest thing to do. Good luck
