Hi

I just want to know if anybody has ever tried the uppper hing repair kit from 3rdgensolutions.com???

If you remember, i asked a few month ago about that ^&%&%^ rivet in the door hinge and how i could fix it.

Is this kit worth th 90$ (150$ canadien) ???

I haven't installed mine yet, but I can vouch for ANDYZ28. I received my kit really quickly and it came with detailed instructions and even a little tube of loctite.

I paid $155 for a local bodyshop to replace the hinge and paint the area again. In and out in a day and that was that. I didnt know about that kit before I had it done, but being as I'm a little lazy the extra money and awesome full car wash was worth it

I had new hinges installed in my '86 by the bodyshop at the local Chevy dealer.

I've bought the www.andyz28.com pins for my '89, but haven't installed them yet.
