power 4th gen into pwr 3rd gen???
i know the seats from a fourth gen are direct bolt ins, and i did do a search, but i found no info on how to hook up the electronics of the power seat....IE i have an 86 iroc w/ power dr. seat, how do i get the 4th gen power seat hooked up?? sorry if it has been a repeat Q, i just dont know the answer
thanks to all!
thanks to all! If you didn't already have power, you'll have to run your own power wire, and don't forget the ground wire. And if you can find a wireing diagram from a fourth gen, you'll be able to find out what wires are pos & neg.

The orange wire is positive and the black one is negative.
There are only two wires to hook up the power seat.
I have had a 96 Camaro SS power drivers seat in my car as well as 96 Trans Am seats with power bolster and lumbar.
