Any ideas?

When I installed the fourth gen center console, i used my camaro stereo/climate pod and just chopped it. Problem is, there is like a 1 inch to 2 inch gap between the two. How could I patch this up and make it look better. Im thinking about soldering a piece between the two, but i think it might look ugly, any other opinions and ideas?
Thanks for any help.

Try some dark ABS plastic. You can pick it up pretty cheap at a car audio place usually.

ABS plastic looks like the stuff that surrounds my deck in this picture.

A monster came and ate them. ( took them out, I live in a hot town where the winters are generally still hot enough to ride t-tops down, and summers are even hotter)
