Mystery wire/connector '84 Firebird

Howdy all,

I just recently purchased an '84 Firebird. The other day, I was looking for a place to mount my CB radio. I took apart the passenger side dash to see what all was back there. I came across two wires that attached to a connector. The wire disapeared in to a huge wiring harness. This connector looked like it held at one time, a fuse. Would anyone have any ideas as to what this connector would be for?

Also, Anyone have any good ideas on where to mount a CB in the car? As it is right now, It sits in the passenger seat.

Thanks in advance!

That connector is nothing important. I know which one you speak of. I believe it has something to do with the power antenna (and your car was not equipped with one).
