dumb spoiler question

im getting ready to put on my High rise spioler, but i cant get the 3 piece one off. The two side pieces have three studs, one on the top, two on the sides. The side pieces wont move enough to come out(the bolt studs hit). Do i have to pull out the studs or what?

BTW, i have a broken leg so it is hard for me to stand up and look at it for a long time, thats why i am asking such a question.

Thanks for your time:hail: :hail:

Try moving it around and pulling up on it. I've removed many 3 piece spoilers from camaros in the j/y, some times i've had troubles with getting the side ones out and others just came right out.I'm in a same predictament as you are in, I had knee surgery 2 1/2 months ago and I really want to get outside and work on my SC really bad. Good luck getting the spoiler off.

just did mine, just move it around a little, I think I pulled the side off a little then wiggled to get the top closer to coming out then just wiggled it some more until it came off. But no stud removal.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the help!!

I ended up getting them off with just pulling on the spoiler harder, and moving it around some more.

Let me tell you, it is harder than **** to work on your car with a broken leg. It took me just over 6 hours to take out the whole interior
