Anybody have a sunroof?
Just wondered if anyone had a sunroof or moonroof put in their car? Can anybody tell me about what it costs to have done? My headliner is falling down and I thought I might as well get sun roof while im having the headliner fixed. Thanks, Justin.
Down here an electric one with a lifetime warranty costs $800 installed...
I don't know about in Ohio
Do a search and you can see some pictures of it done, but the member bought the car that way, and didn't do it......

sun roof
i have a 84 se that has a sun roof. im pretty sure it was added by the previous owner but not 100% sure. however i would just recomend either adding t tops or just replacing the headliner. im not realy to found of looking out my window at the car and seeing this oval of glass in the roof, it just taked away from its beauty in my opionon. but to answer your question yes it can be done and has been, how much i couldnt tell you that exactly except that it was 300$ just to replace the glass and frame. so mabey another 100$ or 200$ for the labor to have them cut the hole.

My car has one, and I hate it. It was fine when I got the car @3 and a half years ago, no problems. I never used it really, opened it a couple times, took the glass out maybe once or twice, and now it leaks, and it whistles above 90 - 95 MPH or so. I never use it, cause it's kind of a PITA to remove the glass, and the only other thing you can do with it is flip it open about 1.5 - 2 inches - which is kind of useless, IMO. Now, if it were the power kind, that slides open from inside the car, I might be more fond of it. I'd say, if you're gonna do it, get a power slider, and not one of the cheap flip open ones. My .02.

Oh no no no I can't stand a sun roof on an f body but if thats what you want go for it and get the power slider, thats what is on the dodge I drive some of the time and it works good and does not leak and does not make wind noise but when I get the bird it is going to have t tops I found a nice 92 GTA with everything I wanted but the t tops it had a nasty sun roof, if it was a t top car I would have bought it for sure!

I have a sunroof in my car, it was there when i bought it! I am the third owner and I know the 2nd guy didn't put it in so i'm assuming the first person (lady) got it put in. It's either in or out but not flipped open! I keep the windows up and take it out cuz it's easy to get out! I woundn't spend the money to have one put in, just my .02
